Der Handlungsraum hat eine Flachengrosse von insgesamt 389 ha. Hier leben etwa 19 800 Menschen und damit jede*r dritte Stolberger*in (34,5 %). Das IHKO ist Grundlage fur die Aufnahme in das Stadtebauforderprogramm Sozialer Zusammenhalt und die europaischen Strukturforderfonds EFRE und ESF uber den Aufruf ,,Starke Quartiere -- starke Menschen" und ist strategisches Steuerungsinstrument fur die integrierte Stadtentwicklung der Kupferstadt Stolberg. Das IHKo bundelt Massnahmen aus 5 Handlungsfeldern. Umgesetzt werden sowohl stadtebauliche als auch infrastrukturelle und soziale Projekte, mit denen die Lebensqualitat erhoht, sozialer Ungleichheit entgegengewirkt und der Zusammenhalt gestarkt werden sollen. Die Umsetzung der Projekte erfolgt durch die verschiedenen Fachamter der Kupferstadt Stolberg und ihre Partner. Bestandteil des IHKo ist eine Zeit- und Investitionsplanung als Grundlage fur den Grundforderantrag und die zu qualifizierenden Jahres- und Projektantrage. Es erfolgt ein zweistufiges Verhandlungsverfahren mit Teilnahmewettbewerb nach VgV zu den in der Veroffentlichung und den Teilnahmeunterlagen genannten Bedingungen.Awards
