(DLR) Buying unitnot reported Publication date2017-08-19 Contest statusnot reported DescriptionIm Allgemeinen handelt es sich bei dem abzuschliessenden ,,Agreement for fundraising and scientific collaboration" um die Grundlage zum Kauf mehrerer S30 sowie S31 Raketenmotoren. Die Aggregate werden in Hohenforschungsraketen fur unterschiedliche Drittmittelprojekte (z. B. Maius, Mapheus, Texus, Hifire, Cryofenix, ICI) eingesetzt. Der aktuell zu schliessende Vertrag bildet die Fortsetzung zum Service Exchange Agreement, welcher in den Jahren zuvor zwischen dem DLR und Funcate bestand.Das ,,Tragersystem" entstand aus einer Kooperation zwischen der Mobilen Raketenbasis des DLR und dem brasilianischen Forschungsinstitut IAE. Ziel war es, eine kostengunstige Hohenfor-schungsrakete fur europaische Wissenschaftsprogramm herzustellen. Im Rahmen einer Marktanalyse wurde festgestellt, dass alternative Systeme mindestens um Faktor zwei teurer sind sowie nicht den Anforderungen seitens der beauftragenden Agenturen als auch des Startplatzes (hier: Nordschweden) entsprechen. Das Tragersystem wurde aus diesem Grund speziell fur die Anforderungen europaischer Mikrogravitationsnutzlasten und deren Einsatz auf dem schwedischen Startplatz Esrange gemeinsam entwickelt. Dies bedeutet, dass samtliche elektrischen als auch mechanischen Schnittstellen den dortigen Gegebenheiten angepasst wurden. Des Weiteren wurde die erste Raketenstufe derart konzipiert, dass diese den Leistungsanforderungen und den gestiegenen Sicherheitsanforderungen des Startplatzes entspricht.Die Hohenforschungsrakete ist als einzige vom brasilianischen IFI Institut zertifiziert und entspricht somit den ISO 9001 Anforderungen der Mobilen Raketenbasis. Jegliche baulichen Veranderungen mussen in aufwendigen und kostspieligen Qualifikationsmassnahmen gepruft werden.Derzeit existiert weltweit kein weiteres Tragersystem, welches fur den gleichen Preis verfugbar ist und aus dem ,,Skylark" Startturm ohne aufwendige Umbauten startbar ware.Awards
