De gemeenten stellen in overleg met onder andere de huidige zorgaanbieders in meerdere overlegtafels een nieuwe overeenkomst op. De samenwerkende gemeenten Drimmelen, Geertruidenberg, Werkendam en Woudrichem zijn in april 2016 gestart met een bestuurlijke aanbestedingsprocedure voor de levering van Hulp bij het Huishouden 2017 (en verder) en zijn nu halverwege deze procedure. Ondertussen heeft Gemeente Oosterhout in mei/juni 2016 te maken gekregen met een gerechtelijke uitspraak, waardoor het beleid inzake de Hulp bij het Huishouden geen stand houdt binnen deze gemeente.
