The survey was implemented in 2008 in cooperation with OECD. The target groups of the survey were teachers and school managers at lower secondary level. Norway shall also participate in the second round of the survey Talis 2013. This survey will, to a large degree, include following up the four main areas from the first round: teachers' teaching practices and beliefs, evaluation, appraisal and feedback to teachers, professional development of teachers, as well as leadership and management of schools. New indicators based on results from the first round and the participating countries' priorities, shall also be developed. In addition to participation at ISCED level 2, Talis 2013 will also include options for participation at ISCED level 1 and ISCED level 3. A Talis-Pisa link at school level will also be an option. However, implementation of the options will require minimum 6 participating countries. Decision regarding possibly Norwegian participation in the options will be made during spring 2011. Development of indicators and questionnaires shall take place spring 2011 and be tested in 5-6 countries autumn 2011. The field trial of the survey shall be implemented spring 2012 in all participating countries, and the main survey data collection shall be implemented spring 2013. An international report, prepared by OECD, shall be ready in June 2014. The research institution liable for implementation of the survey in Norway (NPM National Project Manager) shall prepare the national report with elaborative analyses of the Norwegian data. It is expected that NPM shall participate in a NPM forum in connection with development and implementation of the survey.Adjudicaciones
