The rivers flowing into Mjosa and Mjosa itself have been monitored for more than 40 years. The monitoring programme for the water area Mjosa has been adjusted in accordance with the Water Regulations and in accordance with the environment authorities. The environmental standard shall be classified in accordance with Guidelines 02:2013 -- revised 2015 -- Classification of the environmental condition of the water. The competition includes these sub-areas together: 1. Monitoring Stor-Mjosa (main station Skreia); 2. Monitoring the water quality at 3 other stations in Mjosa, Brottum, Kise and Furnesfjorden, as well as animal plankton in Furnesfjorden; 3. Monitoring chemical and hygienic/bacteriological conditions in Mjosa's 6 largest feed rivers and the outflow river Vorma, as well as biological surveys in the 11-12 largest feed rivers and Vorma on a rolling programme; 4. Reporting, including various presentations and entering all data into the database Vannmiljo.Awards
