The Norwegian National Transport Plan 2014-2023 prepares for the Intercity stretches to Hamar, Tonsberg and Seut near Fredrikstad are being completed by 2024. The Ringerike Line shall be designed, planned and constructed as a modern double -- tracked railway between Sandvika (Jong) and Honefoss. Included in planning is also the European road 16 with two traffic lanes in each direction between Skaret and the Ve crossing. The start of works is scheduled to 2019, with a subsequent completion preliminary scheduled to to 2024. The zoning plan is implemented as a governmental plan. The section between Heleglandsmoen and the Ve crossing is not yet determined.
