E39 Rogfast bestar av en 26,7km lang undersjoisk, tolops hovedtunnel med tverrsnitt 2 x T10,5 mellom Harestad i Randaberg kommune sor for Boknafjorden og Laupland i Bokn kommune nord for Boknafjorden. Der bygges ca. 1,4km motorvei med innsnevring og pakobling til eksisterende E39 sor for Knarholmen. Mellom Kvitsoy og hovedtunnelen skal bygges en 3,5km lang ett-lopstunnel med tverrsnitt T10,0 som kobles til hovedtunnelen i et toplanskryss i tunnel.
