As a scientific university college, NIH has a national responsibility for education, research and communication within sports science subjects. NIH was established in 1968 and currently has approx. 220 employees and 1 500 students. The university college has a comprehensive national and international network and is a recognised partner in this cooperation. NIH is organised into five subject sections and it offers profession orientated and discipline orientated bachelor and master degrees, as well as doctor degree studies. The library is organisationally located in the administration, as a section under the Department for Research and Library (AFB). The periodicals shall also be available by remote access for the university college's employees and students. In addition, the periodicals shall be available for 'walk-in-access' in the library.Awards
