The assignment is subject to available annual financing. The professional group shall assist the Norwegian Environment Agency in assessment of plans and programs for the environmental monitoring as well as interpretations of monitoring results and reports. The group shall consist of three to five persons with strong professional expertise and who can complement each other. Due to the importance of continuity, we want the group members to participate in the professional group for several years. This is due to the environmental monitoring being a complex field and it takes time to become familiar with requirements, practices and routines before one can fully contribute. We are also in a development phase where the guidelines for environmental monitoring shall be updated. This requires follow-up from the same persons during several years. The members of the professional group must be independent and the appointment as a member of the group is therefore personal (independent of the employer).Awards
