1. Acceptance

By accessing sociedad.info, the user fully accepts these terms.

2. Permitted use

The objective of this site is to disseminate official public information about public procurement.

Global License of sociedad.info

The content of sociedad.info (including design, code, graphics, and data presentation) is licensed under CC BY 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International), with mandatory citation. This means you can share and adapt our content for any purpose, including commercially, as long as you provide appropriate attribution.

Data Source Licenses

The published data comes from multiple official sources, and each source may have its own license. The applicable license for data from a specific source is indicated in the source information section of each record. Some sources use CC BY 4.0, while others may have different licenses (such as CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, or country-specific licenses). It is important to verify the license of each source before reusing the data.

The data are obtained from official records and are used under the licence for each source.

In Guatemala, the source data is obtained from official records such as Guatecompras, without alterations; it is only normalized for consultation and can be reused because it is in the public domain according to art. 15 LAIP GT and according to the specific license of each source;

2.1 Republishing and takedown requests

Sociedad.info acts as a republisher of public information. The party legally responsible for the original publication of the data is the institution that generated it, not Sociedad.info or Anticoding S.C. If you would like a record corrected or removed, the most effective path is to request it directly from the official source (for example, Guatecompras). When the source updates the record, we will reflect the change within a reasonable time.

2.2 Access levels

The public profile is free to access and does not require an account. Creating a free account enables additional features (saving, alerts, among others). Downloadable reports are a separate paid service, subject to these terms.

2.3 Refunds and promotions

Paid reports are non-refundable by default. Sociedad.info may, at its discretion, refund a report in full or in part when it was not delivered or when an error attributable to the service occurred. Sociedad.info may also offer free reports or other promotions at its sole discretion, without this creating a right to demand them outside the conditions under which they were offered.

3. Intellectual property
