Die eingleisige Strecke ist elektrifiziert. Kernstuck der geplanten Streckenbegradigung ist der Neubau des ca. 700 m langen eingleisigen Buechiwaldtunnels. Dieser Tunnel wird mit einer Tunnelbeleuchtung sowie mit einem Handlauf uber dem Bankett (Dienstweg) ausgerustet. Der Handlauf dient zusatzlich als Kabeltragsystem fur die Beleuchtung des Dienstwegs. Am Westportal dieses Tunnels ist ein vollstandig, uberdeckter Techn. Raum angeordnet, der mit einem Doppelboden und einer Raumluftung ausgerustet wird. In diesem Techn. Raum wird die gesamte Betriebs- und Sicherheitsausrustung untergebracht, die fur den Betrieb des Tunnels (Verteilanlage elektrische Energie, Steuerung Tunnelbeleuchtung, Betriebsfunk und Sicherheitsanlage) notwendig ist. Gegenstand und Umfang der Ausschreibung: 1.
