Es konnen rund 120 000 m3 Wasser zuruckgehalten werden. Das Ruckhaltebecken besteht aus einem Abschlussbauwerk aus Beton und einem seitlichen Damm, welcher an eine Hallenwand anschliesst. Als Abschlussbauwerk fur das Ruckhaltebecken ist eine rund 44 m lange und bei den Sperrenflugeln rund 10 m hohe Betonsperre mit einer 4 m breiten Drosseloffnungen und einer 20 m breiten Uberfallsektion vorgesehen. Gegenstand des Auftrags: Ingenieur-Dienstleistungen fur die Realisierung des Ruckhaltebeckens Brand im Rahmen des Hochwasserschutzes Langete und Zuflusse (inkl. okologische Ersatzmassnahmen direkt oberhalb der Sperre und Objektschutzmassnahmen).
