Das Objekt weist diversen aufgelaufenen Unterhaltsbedarf auf. Dieser soll mit einer Gesamtsanierung behoben werden. Gleichzeitig sollen diverse Bedurfnisse im Bereich Anlieferung, Safety und Security umgesetzt und Optimierungsmassnahmen wie Ausbau der Schutzraume zu Lager realisiert werden. Die Sanierung hat in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Denkmalpflege der Stadt Bern zu erfolgen. Erstellungskosten BKP 1 -9: 30 Mio.
