Engineering InspectionMarsh Ltd are Insurance Brokers to Strathclyde Partnership for Transport and Strathclyde Concessionary Travel Joint Committee (hereinafter referred to as 'SPT') and are to secure placement of SPT's insurance programme from 15.5.2013 for those policies listed above and detailed in the Tender documentation. Tenderers are invited to tender on a "package" basis. Alternatively you may wish to quote on a combination of the proposed risks or for individual policies within the broking presentation.All Tenders to be submitted "net" of standard rebatable commission. The cover period is annual with effect from 15.5.2013 to 14.5.2014 but your quotation may be subject to a Long Term Agreement. Please state clearly the basis of your quotation. If you quote on a "package" basis the Long Term Agreement is to apply to the "package" cover as opposed to each cover. Quotes are required for a three year Long Term Agreement with an option to extend for a further two years and for a straight five year Long Term Agreement.Any bid submitted must allow for the rating structure to be reviewed if SPT transfer any services to a third party during the period of the contract. All Tenderers should be aware that SPT reserve the right to terminate a long term agreement at the end of each and any annual period during a Long Term Agreement if non mutual or national insurance framework agreements are established. It is a requirement of the tender process that the contract will be awarded to the most economically advantageous tender. All the relevant underwriting has been collated and incorporated within the Market Presentation. Claims information is available upon request to Marsh Ltd.
