Between 2012 and 2016, the NEC scheme expects to deal with between 300 000 and 500 000 new applications (typical volumes of new applications are 4 000 to 6 000 forms per month but we expect forms processing to decline -over time - with the introduction of online self-service processing) and around 2 million new, expired, lost / stolen replacement smartcards (typical volumes will be 30 000 to 50 000 cards per month). Specifically, our principle partner, Transport Scotland (TS) and its travel partners, also issue other supplementary transport products such as travel vouchers.
