It is envisaged that volume will be mainly for domestic systems, however there may be a requirement over the 4 years for commercial and/or multi fuel servicing and maintenance.Efficiency North is supported by the Homes and Communities Agency and YoHr Space the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership. For more information about Efficiency North visit www.efficiencynorth.org.(Note that Efficiency North (Yorkshire and Humberside) (EN) are part of Re:allies which is a unique Northern alliance of registered (housing) provider consortia consisting of Procure Plus (PP), Lancashire Housing Partners (LHP), Cumbria Housing Partners (CHP), Procure Plus Associates (PPAL), and North East Procurement (NEP). For more information about the Re:allies alliance and the housing consortia it comprises please visit www.re-allies.com. Additional housing consortia may join the Re:allies Alliance from time to time).The framework agreement will be split geographically, and it is envisaged that the framework of successful contractors for each region would then subsequently undergo 1 of 4 exercises as a means of calling-off from the framework agreement. These options are;1. Direct Selection,2. Rate Call-off,3. Single Stage Price / Quality Mini Competition or4. Single Stage Price Only Mini Competition.It is envisaged that the framework agreement will initially be entered into by Selby District Council on behalf of Efficiency North and the successful contractors, however the framework agreement may be novated from Selby District Council on behalf of Efficiency North to the Re:allies Partnership in the event that the Re:allies Partnership has been incorporated. This will not affect the scope of the framework agreement or the works that it covers.The following contracting authorities will be entitled to call off under the EN framework agreement as and when required:1. EN's members (both current and future).The current members are;A1 Housing www.a1housing.co.uk.Barnsley MBC www.barnsley.gov.uk.Berneslai Homes www.berneslaihomes.co.uk.City of York Council www.york.gov.uk.East Riding of Yorkshire Council www.eastriding.gov.uk.Hambleton District Council www.hambleton.gov.uk.Hull City Council www.hullcc.gov.uk.Leeds Federated www.lfha.co.uk.North Lincolnshire Homes www.newsite.nlhomes.org.uk.Richmondshire District Council www.richmondshire.gov.uk.Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council www.rotherham.gov.uk.Selby District Council www.selby.gov.uk.Sheffield City Council www.sheffield.gov.uk.Sheffield Homes www.sheffield.org.uk.St. Leger Homes www.stlegerhomes.co.uk.Wakefield and District Housing www.wdh.co.uk.Yorkshire Housing www.yorkshirehousing.co.uk.2. The current and future members or any other member of the Re:allies alliance from time to time;Social housing provider for this purpose means any provider of social housing and includes registered (housing) providers, local authorities, local government ALMOs, unitary authorities and third sector organisations / registered charities. In addition the following categories of organisation may access the framework agreement for non housing requirements concluded by way of this procurement process:-- central government departments and their agencies,-- national health services bodies,-- local authorities (including county councils, unitary authorities, district (borough)councils, town councils and parish councils),-- registered social landlords (including registered providers and housing associations) and any other category of social landlord,-- local authority regulated companies including arms length management organisations,-- police authorities, fire authorities (including fire and rescue authorities),-- educational establishments (including schools maintained by local authorities, academies, city technology colleges, the skills funding agency, the young peoples learning agency, further education establishments and universities) and,-- registered charities located within the Yorkshire and Humber Region.The contracting authorities listed or referred to above have requirements predominantly within the Yorkshire and Humber region of England including; Richmondshire, Hambleton, Craven, Harrogate, Scarborough, Ryedale, York, Selby, East Riding, Hull, North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, Doncaster, Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.Applicants should note that, under the framework agreement, none of the contracting authorities that are entitled to use the framework agreement shall be under any obligation to do so.It is anticipated that EN shall appoint multiple contractors to the framework agreement.To register your interest, please submit your details on the Procure Plus Tender Management System using the following link http://tendermanagement.procure-plus.com/register/index/59c98b30a8.There will be a meet the buyer event to be held on Wednesday 4.7.2012 at which further information about EN and this opportunity will be available.To register a place at the event please e-mail details and names of 2 attendees to tenders@efficiencynorth.net.
