As such, it is envisaged that visual or near-visual signalling will continue to be an important part of the resilient positioning and navigation solution at sea. R&RNAV has two projects that require the engagement of services of an external, authoritative, maritime navigation expert for additional support in providing a summary of the state-of-the-art in the visual signalling and machine vision technologies.
