No guarantee of the volume of work, if any, to be undertaken in relation to each Call-Off Contract is given by the Authority. The Contractor understands that he may be required to undertake a number of simultaneous or consecutive pieces of work at any one time, and these may be awarded by different client services within the Council. This may be by way of direct award or via mini-competition. In submitting a Tender, Contractors shall be deemed to understand and accept that The Authority has awarded a Framework Agreement for the Provision of 'Tree Survey, including Bat Surveying' and that no Contractor awarded participation in the 'Tree Survey' Framework may tender for Tree Work Services Framework in view of the potential conflict of interest which might arise. The Framework Agreement shall be divided into Two (2) Lots by type of Tree Works required and then further sub divided into Sub Lots by geographic areas as follows: Lot 1 - Programmed Tree Works Sub Lot A - Caithness Sutherland Sub Lot B - Ross-shire and Skye Sub Lot C - Inverness-shire Sub Lot D - Nairn Badenoch and Strathspey and Lochaber Lot 2 - Emergency Tree Works Sub Lot A - Caithness Sub Lot B - Sutherland Sub Lot C - Easter Ross Sub Lot D - Wester Ross Sub Lot E - Skye and Lochalsh Sub Lot F - Lochaber Sub Lot G - Inverness Sub Lot H - Nairn Sub Lot I - Badenoch and Strathspey Service Providers may submit prices for one or more Lots, one or more Sub lots. The Framework will be for a three (3) year period with the option for the Authority to extend by one (1) additional year on an annual basis, subject to mutual agreement.
