The value of the framework agreement for the purposes of the OJEU contract notice will be 200 000 000 GBP however the council's internal funding cap approved for the framework agreement will be circa 100 000 000 GBP at this time. The council is funding the Schools and Centres 21 Phase 2 investment programme through generating revenue savings to raise capital funding and therefore this approach provides flexibility for the council to review its budgets over the next 4 years. The Schools and Centres 21 Phase 2 investment programme will include a mix of secondary and primary school projects which may/may not have associated community facilities. It is anticipated that these projects will be principally new construction but as the specific nature of projects are not all known at this point, major refurbishment is sometimes the only solution available for some buildings.Awards
