We are unable to give any guarantees either about contract volumes or ranking on the Frameworks.The main aim of the support provided is to enable individuals to be supported to live where they want to live and feel safe, to be treated with respect and dignity and maintain or improve the skills they need to remain in their own home if this is what they want.Services provided may include personal care services and housing support services and could also be provided as home based respite for a carer as well as the individual receiving services.Committee reports (Social Work and Health number 455/14), copies of which can be accessed at www.angus.gov.uk/ccmeetings/reports provides further background details.Focus of this Procurement:The Social Care(Self-directed Support)(Scotland) Act 2013 introduced a duty on local authorities to offer those with eligible needs greater choice and control over the support to meet their needs. Whilst reasonable care has been taken in the preparation of the tender documents and the estimated total final value figure stated in ii.2.1 below,Due to the nature of the services it is not possible to calculate the likely total contract value or the level of business which any of the participating suppliers may gain through participation on the framework.Awards
