We require an archaeological watching brief to be carried out from Autumn 2014 to Summer 2015 during the construction of Clay's Lake Dam, Pease Pottage, Crawley. The works are part of the Upper Mole Flood Alleviation Scheme and include the following: * produce Written Scheme of Investigation * undertake Archaeological Watching Brief - produce necessary Risk Assessments and Method Statements * produce Post Excavation Assessment * liaise with County Archaeologist and NEAS Archaeologist. We are anticipating issuing the tender documents week commencing 16th June and tender return by 8th July 2014. See attached location map.
