It is an independent statutory body created by an Act of Parliament. The SMC was looking for a supplier who could fulfil the following invitation to tender: Aims 1. Produce four user-friendly, visually appealing documents within a tight turnaround period 2. Ensure government accessibility standards are met Key deliverables 1. Laying up the text of the Retail Toolkit that will be around 50 pages long (Output 1) a. Creating infographics, break out boxes and pull-quotes b. Sourcing photographic images to support the text c. Final product should align with our previous toolkit styles See more here: www.socialmobilityworks.org. d. 2-3 text graphics taken from the report suitable for social media 2. Laying up the Apprenticeship Toolkit that will be around 50 pages long (Output 2) a. Creating infographics, break out boxes, pull-quotes and case studies b. Sourcing photographic images to support the text c. Laying up the text and images of the 'Cold spots map' that will be around 2 pages long and contain simple infographics (Output 3) 4. Laying up the text of the #Askthequestion campaign that will be around 4-pages long (Output 4) a. Text and 2-3 other designed pages with a few graphics 5. Working collaboratively with the SMC team to undertake quality assurance during the finalisation process to make sure that the final product is good quality. 6. Copy editing the work, to ensure typos do not spring up during design, and to ensure consistency 7. Two rounds of proofs with the SMC team (minimum 24hrs to review edits) 8. Final deliverables: web-friendly PDF files with interactive links (e.g., links to pages/chapters from the Table of Contents and/or external links) that meet government accessibility criteria
