The current ICT environment is based predominantly on HP desktop PCs and Windows servers, Oracle UNIX servers and Cisco networks. The cabling infrastructure consists mainly of Cat5e, voice grade copper and multi-mode fibre backbones. There are currently approximately 6 000 PCs, 400 laptops, 200 tablets. The desktop operating system and office productivity software is Microsoft.
