The work requirements are varied and broad and may include amongst others, engineering design services for civil engineering works and traffic technology involving electronic signs and signals etc., feasibility studies, surveys, public consultation, preparation of orders and other statutorily required documentation, preparation for an environmental statement, liaison with stakeholders and the public, preparation of evidence for infrastructue planning processes and planning statutory procedures, management of protected species and cultural heritage and traffic management. Lot 2 traffic technology and network communications design - the work requirements are varied and broad and may include anything relating to HA network communication systems. These include electrical plant, telephone systems, traffic signals, lighting, electronic signs and indicators, variable message signs of various types, CCTV systems, enforcement systems, including cameras as defined in specific orders. upgrading of traffic control centres. Lot 3 commercial support - the requirements will encompass the majority of the commercal skill required by our operational and commercial delivery teams and will include amongst others, commercial managers, quantity surveyors and project estimators. It will involve estimating, cost analysis, project cost management and challenges, assessing, valuing and agreeing target costs and procurement process support. It will also involve element of skills transfer and training. Lot 5 project traffic modelling services - recording and reporting of traffic flow data, production of traffic flow reports, modelling of future demand, scenario modelling.
