The 1st phase of this work will culminate in the submission of an Arts Council England Stage II Large Capital application at RIBA Design Stage D (RIBA Plan of work 2007) / or completed RIBA Work Stage 3 (RIBA Plan of work 2013). We then hope for subsequent stages and the entire project should be c. 4 500 000 GBP. The Design Team might be 1 organisation or a consortium with 1 lead organisation, and include (e.g.) architect, structural and quantity surveyors, M&E and acoustics specialists and so on. In addition to developing the project to RIBA stages as above, plans for the remainder of 2017 and 2018 include securing the balance of funding required for the project. If funds are in place, and the Arts Council Stage II application is successful, then the construction phase of the project will start early 2020, with the building re-opening late 2020.Awards
